One of the cutest bulb plants to grow with lots of flat "center-less" flowers, 1" across and 6 petals each. Needs well drained soil. However, ours survived 7°F in a spot that I wouldn't call well drained (water puddles close up to it in rain) without protection. In colder regions they can be grown easily in pots, which can be overwintered in a cool, dry room.
