One of the dwarfest deciduous trees in the world. Heavily used for bonsai and is also great for rock gardens and troughs. Grows to 12" in about 10 years. The leaves are only 1/8" long but the plant is as attractive without them in winter, showing off the corky bark. Drought tolerant once established and needs a well drained soil. As of 1-1-2020 these are 1-1/2" to 2" tall from July 2018 cuttings.
