An exceptional chance seedling occuring in England, with loads of showy, blue 1" flowers starting as early as mid May (here in Oregon) and going as late as August. Even without flowers the dark green, broad grass-like leaves are handsome and make tidy clumps suitable for edging. This plant has it all: non-seeding, clumping, drought- humidity- and deer tolerant. Ours were planted about 10 years ago and look still good without any maintance, hence we feel compelled to share. Needs a well-drained soil.
