This one is more tender than the straight species we offer and needs a well protected spot to be hardy in zone 8. They do very well under fir or pine trees, the fallen needles giving them protection in winter. In colder regions they can be wintered over on a cool, bright windowsill. Pleione start making new roots mid spring, about right in the middle of their blooming season. They should be watered little October until right after bloom.
