An extremely rare species, so much so that it was thought lost for good but then found again in the wild in Lebanon. While the large, angular and patterned leaves appear in late fall, the large, soft pink flowers emerge in March. The flowers are among the largest of all Cyclamen species and last 4-5 weeks (the same flowers). Not particularly hard to grow, but if grown outside in zone 8 it needs an excellent draining soil. Of course an alpine house is ideal where they can be kept dry over summer.
