A newer variety with we snatched up at Sarastro Nursery, Austria on our 2007 EU trip. The flowers are pink on the inside; crimson-pink on the outside, turning crimson as they age. According to Christain Kress the darkest thus far. Spreading, easy to grow "filler" for the woodland garden or in front of a shady border. Prefers moist, humusy soil but tolerates drier soil in summer as they are then dormant. Please note the rhizomes of these Anemone root later in spring and may be shipped not rooted-in.
